Douglas County PUD Commissioners Lynn Heminger, Ron Skagen and Jim Davis executed the following actions during the August 18, 2008 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters office:
Awarded Cannon Construction Inc. of Milton, WA, contract 08-12-D, Bridgeport Bar fiber optic system construction. Cannon Construction with a bid price of $155,449, was the lowest responsive bidder. (08-208)
Authorized execution of a fourth repayment agreement relating to a line of credit for Northwest Open Access Network (NoaNet). The line of credit will finance improvements to and the expansion of NoaNet facilities. (08-209)
Authorized video transport agreements with television networks. These agreements are required by most networks to receive and transport the signal over the Douglas County Community Network. (08-210)
Approved land use permit 10D-01 for Black Bear Lands, LLC. This permit will allow control and management of poison ivy (oak) along path to the Wells Reservoir on District property. (08-211)
Approved land use permit 311G-01. This permit will allow existing landscape, bulkhead and stairs on District property. (08-212)
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. August 25, 2008 at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office.
