Douglas County PUD Commissioners Jim Davis, Lynn Heminger and Mike Doneen executed the following actions during the July 19, 2004 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters building:
Opened bids to bids to provide Douglas PUD with replacement pond covers at the Methow Hatchery. There were three bids received for the contract with bid prices ranging from $46,579 to $164,000. The apparent low bid was received from Knight Construction of Deer Park, WA. Estimated to cost $130,000, all bids will be evaluated prior to recommendation.
Accepted bids received for Douglas PUD surplus items sold by Northwest Auction Service. Vehicles, tools, computer accessories, and other items were auctioned. The auction raised $42,893.55 for Douglas PUD. (04-145)
Authorized a call for bids to provide Douglas PUD with modifications to the Twisp River Weir / Sill. This weir is in place to collect brood stock for the Methow spring chinook hatchery. Based on testing during the 2003 adult migration, these modifications will make the weir more effective. (04-146)
Established a new administrative Position of Electrical Engineer. This position will support power supply and operations activities. (04-147)
