Douglas County PUD Commissioners Ron Skagen and Jim Davis executed the following actions during the July 14, 2008 Commission meeting held at the Bridgeport office:
Awarded TJE LLC of Wenatchee, 08-32-D, traffic control flagging. TJE LLC, with a bid price of $271,740, was the only responsive bidder. (08-179)
Awarded Hale and Long General Contractors of East Wenatchee, 08-33-D, exterior improvements to Bridgeport Office Building. Hale and Long General, with a bid price of $163,050 was the lowest responsive bidder. (08-180)
Awarded Custom Manufacturing and Design of Ridgefield, WA, 08-34-D, Rapids Switchyard bus equipment and steel support structures. Custom Manufacturing and Design, with a bid price of $101,000, was the lowest responsive bidder. (08-181)
A resolution authorizing the execution of a new collective bargaining agreement with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 77 for a three year period. (08-182)
Opened bid submitted for bid 08-35-D, Rapids Switchyard tubular steel. The only bid was received Galvanizers Inc. of West Fargo, ND. The bid will be evaluated prior to a recommendation for contract award.
Opened bid submitted for bid 08-36-D, Rapids Switchyard voltage transformer and station service voltage transformer. The only bid was received from Kuhlman Electric Corporation of Versailles, NY. The bid will be evaluated prior to a recommendation for contract award.
Opened bids submitted for bid 08-37-D, Rapids Switchyard 115 kV disconnect switches. The apparent low bid was received from Southern States of Pleasanton, CA. The bids will be evaluated prior to a recommendation for contract award.
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. July 21, 2008 at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office.
