Douglas County PUD Commissioners Jim Davis and Lynn Heminger executed the following actions during the June 7, 2004 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters building:
Rejected the bid to construct and install a pier, dock and floats at Columbia Cove Park in Brewster for Douglas PUD. The bid received for the contract exceeded the engineer’s estimate by more than the amount allowable under state law. Authorized a call for bids to install a pier, dock and floats at Columbia Cove Park in Brewster for Douglas PUD. This project is in compliance with the 1997 Recreation Action Plan Update. (04-105)
Rejected the bids to provide Douglas PUD with replacement pond covers at the Methow Hatchery. The bids received were considered non-responsive. (04-106)
Authorized the disposal of surplus General Electric ATB 230 kV breakers. Total Reclaim Inc. of Seattle will transport the breakers to their facility, remove the SF6 gas in an environmentally responsible manner, and recycle the metal and porcelain parts of the breakers. (04-107)
Approved a wind testing lease and option agreement with the David Adams Family LLC. covering 40 acres with an annual payment of $94. (04-108)
Canceled the regular meeting scheduled for June 21, 2004 due to other Commissioner commitments.
