Douglas County PUD Commissioners Ron Skagen, Jim Davis and Lynn Heminger executed the following actions during the June 25, 2012 Commission meeting held at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office:
Approved renewal of contract 11-09-D, asphalt installation and repair with Central Washington Asphalt, Inc. for an additional one-year period as allowed for in the contract. (12-100)
Authorized a call for bids under bid document 12-06-D, supply and deliver one snow cat with trailer. (12-101)
Approved revision of section 33 and Schedule 6 of the Electric Distribution System Customer Service Policies. Among other changes, this revision will decrease the contribution in aid of construction cost for connections to the DCCN to $250. (12-102)
Authorized purchase of easement from Ellen M. Johnson. Necessary for rebuilding a distribution line out of the O’Malley Substation. (12-103)
Approved and confirmed execution of applications for bond ratings from Moody’s and Standard and Poor’s. The applications are necessary to provide a rating for the District’s upcoming bond issue. (12-104)
Authorized a one-year agreement with Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife for the operation of hatchery programs. (12-105)
Approved the operation and maintenance budget for the Wells Hatchery for the 2012-2013 fiscal year for $1,113,623. This is a 5.78 percent increase from last year’s budget. (12-106)
Authorized the operation and maintenance budget for the Methow Hatchery for the 2012-2013 fiscal year for $ 842,994. This is a 3.06 percent decrease from last year’s budget. (12-107)
Approved retirement and disposal of obsolete items at the Wells Hydroelectric Project. These items are non-usable, of no value, and unsuitable for sale at a surplus auction. (12-108)
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. July 2, 2012 at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office.
