Douglas County PUD Commissioners Lynn Heminger Ron Skagen and Jim Davis executed the following actions during the June 16, 2008 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters office:
Approved acceptance of all work performed by Asplundh Tree Expert Co. under the second year of contract 06-15-D, distribution tree trimming. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (08-141)
Rejected bid under bid document 08-03-D, distribution electrical and communication dock crew(s). The bid exceeded the engineer’s estimate by more than the amount allowable under state law. (08-142)
Awarded HVB-AE-Power Systems of Swanee, GA contract 08-25-D Rapids Switchyard 115 kV breakers. HVB-AE-Power Systems, with a bid price of $455,000, was the lowest responsive bidder. (08-143)
Authorized a call for bids under bid document 08-35-D, Rapids Switchyard tubular steel. (08-144)
Approved a call for bids under bid document 08-36-D, Rapids Switchyard voltage transformer and station service voltage transformer. (08-145)
Authorized a call for bids under bid document 08-37-D, Rapids Switchyard 115 kV disconnect switches. (08-146)
Approved addendum No. 1 to bid document 08-16-W, log and debris boom at Wells Dam. The pre-bid conference with potential bidders revealed necessary revisions and clarifications to the bid document. (08-147)
Authorized land use permit 658-01 for Wells Tract 658. This permit will allow an irrigation system and landscaping on District property. (08-148)
Approved wind project lease and option agreement with Mildred Sprauer covering 229 acres. (08-149)
Authorized agreement for professional services with Anitian Enterprise Security for 08-31-D, Network Security Assessment. (08-150)
