Douglas County PUD Commissioners Jim Davis, Lynn Heminger and Ron Skagen executed the following actions during the March 8, 2010 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters office:
Authorized change order No. 14 to contract 06-41-W, generator rebuild for unit refurbishment for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. Changes include removal of existing bushings, installation of new bushings and non-destructive examination of the runner hub. This change order will increase the not to exceed limit $46,003 bringing the total not to exceed limit to $153,913,109. (10-043)
Authorized change order No. 15 to contract 06-41-W, generator rebuild for unit refurbishment for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. Changes include machining on the turbine shaft to allow non-destructive examination and to perform additional finite element analysis. This change order will increase the not to exceed limit $32,422 bringing the total not to exceed limit to $153,945,531. (10-044)
