Douglas County PUD Commissioners Jim Davis, Lynn Heminger and Ron Skagen executed the following actions during the March 29, 2010 Commission meeting held at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office:
Opened bids under bid document 10-04-D, pole testing and treating. The bids will be analyzed prior to an award recommendation.
Approved filing a System Security and Integrity Plan with the Federal Communications Commission and process Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act (CALEA) requests with District resources. (10-059)
Authorized clarifying Commissioner compensation in accordance with Washington Law and rescinded all prior resolutions for Commissioner salary and per diem. The Washington State Legislature recently passed a bill to clarify the method of calculating PUD Commissioner Compensation. (10-060)
Approved acceptance of work and final payment to Hurst Construction, LLC. for contract 09-02-W, Warehouse Fire Line Extension for Wells Hydroelectric Project. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (10-061)
Authorized change order No. 2 to contract 09-17-W, Thrust Bearing Load Cell System for Wells Hydroelectric Project with Kingsbury, Inc. This changes the payment schedule. There is not a cost associated with the change order. (10-062)
Approved change order No. 1 to contract 09-27-D, Bridgeport Office Improvements. Changes include prepping the slab floor for new surface, paint removal and new countertop. The changes will increase the contract $8,103 for a total not to exceed limit of $227,521. (10-063)
