Douglas County PUD Commissioners Jim Davis, Lynn Heminger and Ron Skagen executed the following actions during the February 22, 2011 Commission meeting held at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office:
Approved a call for bids under bid document 11-05-D, supply and deliver two 115-13.2 kV, 42MV A substation transformers to Pangborn Substation. Necessary for the Sabey Corporation’s request for more power for their Intergate Columbia facility. (11-022)
Approved acceptance of work and final payment to Cascade Cable Constructors, Inc under contract 09-03-D, plow Installation of underground primary cable or conduit. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (11-023)
Authorized participation in the Mid-Columbia Hourly Coordination 2011 Budget. Grant PUD, acting as Hourly Coordination Central, provides services for the coordination of power generation for the Mid-Columbia PUDs. (11-024)
Approved purchase of certain real property associated with Wells Tracts 1030-E1 from Jack Shaw and Connie Humphrey. The property is necessary for the operation and maintenance of the Wells Hydroelectric Project. (11-025)
