Douglas County PUD Commissioners Lynn Heminger, Ron Skagen and Jim Davis executed the following actions during the December 15, 2008 Commission meeting held at the Bridgeport office:
Opened bid under bid document 08-49-D, Rapids Switchyard control and relay panels. The only bid was received from Electrical Power Products of Des Moines, IA. The bid will be evaluated prior to a recommendation for contract award.
Authorized a call for bids under bid document 08-52-D, 144 count fiber optic transmission cable. Necessary to replace fire damaged fiber optic transmission cable. (08-320)
Approved change order No. 1 to contract 08-47-W, moving and storing transformer insulating oil with KVA Electric, Inc. This change order includes special processing and additional filtering, increasing the not to exceed limit $2,380 bringing the total not to exceed limit to $132,380. The change also allows for progress payments rather than a single lump sum payment. (08-321)
Authorized renewal of legal services agreement with Davis Wright Tremaine LLP. (08-322)
Approved an agreement for professional services with Long View Associates to provide guidance and perspective regarding ongoing aquatic relicensing studies. (08-323)
Authorized agreement with Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) for Interchange Authority Services. (08-324)
Authorizing engagement letter with Cordell, Neher & Company for third party administration services. (08-325)
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. December 22, 2008 at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office.
