Douglas County PUD Commissioners Jim Davis, Lynn Heminger and Ron Skagen executed the following actions during the December 14, 2009 Commission meeting held at the District’s Bridgeport office:
Opened bids under bid document 9-27-D Bridgeport office improvements. The apparent low bidder is Halme Builders, Inc. of Davenport, WA, with a bid of $146,000. The bids will be analyzed prior to an award recommendation.
Approved acceptance of all work performed by Pole Maintenance Company, LLC for the second year of contract 08-15-D, pole testing and treating. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (09-288)
Authorized a call for bids under Bid Document 09-30-D to supply the District with 1250 EPR underground cable. This cable is needed to relocate District facilities in accommodation of Washington State Department of Transportation road project on SR 28. (09-289)
Authorized the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) budget for year 2010. The District’s portion of the budget is $77,408. (09-290)
Approved a Professional Services Agreement with Badger Mountain Productions. Douglas PUD has a need to document District activities on an ongoing basis. Badger Mountain Productions has been providing video documentation for several years and has a good knowledge of District operations. (09-291)
Renewed the legal services agreement with the Law Firm of Jeffers, Danielson, Sonn and Aylward, P.S. This renewal extends the agreement until December 31, 2010. (09-292)
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. December 21, 2009 at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office.
