Douglas County PUD Commissioners Lynn Heminger, Ron Skagen and Jim Davis executed the following actions during the November 3, 2008 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters office:
Opened bids under bid document 08-46-W, headquarters building interiors 2008. The apparent low bid was received from Whitebird Inc. of Wenatchee. The bids will be evaluated prior to a recommendation for contract award.
Approved change order No. 1 to contract 08-38-D, underground primary conductor with WESCO Distribution, Inc. This change order changes the neutral in the conductor and will increase the not to exceed limit $7,363 bringing the total not to exceed limit to $383,238. (08-276)
Awarded FWT Inc. of Fort Worth, TX, contract 08-44-D, steel poles South Nile to Rapids 115kV transmission line. FWT, with a bid price of $538,983, was the lowest responsive bidder. (08-277)
Awarded Stella-Jones Corporation of Arlington, WA, contract 08-45-D, wood poles South Nile to Rapids 115kV transmission line. Stella-Jones, with a bid price of $218,088, was the lowest responsive bidder. (08-278)
Canceled the regular meeting scheduled for November 10, 2008.
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office.
